Who We Are, in 3 Seconds or Less

Here We Are

We’re all masked up and ready to go. Since the start of the pandemic, we’ve been helping organizations communicate urgent and sometimes sensitive messages to their audiences. Schedule a complimentary consultation on Zoom to learn more.

Making A Statement Since 2015

I can’t tell you everything that makes Ananta unique in 30 seconds. But I can show you in less than three.

As the owner of Ananta Creative Group, I am often asked to describe the agency in 30 seconds or less. I typically take a deep breath and rattle off a bunch of services before I run out of time. I worry that if I add some kind of pithy tagline, I risk getting the hook before I get a chance to deliver one.

Since the start of the pandemic, our team of creative marketing specialists has helped clients reframe their messaging. Communicating in a Crisis.

So I might say something like this: “Established in 2015, Ananta Creative Group is a full-service integrated marketing agency based in Princeton, New Jersey. As a collaborative of creative talent and strategic marketing professionals, we partner with small businesses and nonprofit organizations in central New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to develop brand strategies and deliver marketing campaigns that generate awareness and produce measurable results.”

All the while thinking to myself: “Can I try that again? This time, with a little more pizzazz?”

Now that business development has gone virtual, it’s not enough to perfect your pitch, You also need to deliver it in an engaging, authentic and convincing way on camera (probably your own). It may be months before we have the chance to chat one-on-one with prospects over coffee. For now, it’s Zoom or bust.

Staying Relevant in the Summer of COVID-19

With no end in sight to social distancing, putting the face of your company out there —whether on Facebook Live, Zoom, YouTube or any other channel — is one of the most effective ways to let the world know you are still in business and able to serve your customers. Keep in mind that many brands are rethinking their messaging as they reinvent their businesses in response to the coronavirus crisis. Does that mean it’s time for a rebrand?

Not necessarily. Certainly if your reputation has been damaged, your mission, positioning or philosophy has changed, or you are seeking new audiences, then it may be a good time to take that step.

Six years ago, co-founders Gail Rose and Matt Pilsner were building websites and positive brand experiences for a handful of startups. Today they run a small business together. How we got started.

For Ananta, the answer is … not so fast. You can’t hurry love, or a rebrand. We believe it’s a mistake to rush into something as important as a rebrand without a clear strategy and a compelling reason to do so. You may just need to shake up your platforms, fine-tune your messaging and make better use of the tools available to you.

We are advising our clients to focus on their online presence, starting with their website. Just like the old days … of five years ago. Not surprisingly, website traffic showed significant spikes during the coronavirus shutdowns. With more people working remotely via platforms like Zoom and WebEx, they were online all day long. A word of caution: The novelty is starting to wear off, and a lot of us are feeling webinar weary and Zoomed out. You need to give your audience a good reason to stay on your website and engage with your content on all of your platforms.

Which brings Ananta back full circle. High-quality custom photography was our initial hook. It was the immediate way we distinguished brands that would have otherwise been lost in a sea of startup sameness. Now, of course, we all have more tools in our toolkits to create custom content – right in our own pockets. Cellphone video clips work! Especially on social media. We still recommend professional photography and videography whenever the budget allows for evergreen website content – and for great storytelling.

Working with Us in 2020.

Although our services have expanded greatly, our business model has remained the same. We have been working closely together, while physically apart, for many years. Our office in Princeton, NJ, is a place we love to go to meet with clients, collaborate on projects or grab a quick sandwich between appointments.

Ananta has grown into a full-service marketing agency, but working with us is still very much a personalized experience. We would love to tell you all about it.
